The Situation

Serious Company.
Amateur Brand.

Asc3nd Technologies Group entered the federal market with real capability — deep expertise in cybersecurity, AI, and mission IT across agencies including DTRA, GSA, CISA, NOAA, and DISA. But their visual identity told a different story. The original logo was low-resolution and forgettable, the website was dated and hard to navigate, and their marketing materials lacked the professional presence needed to compete for serious contracts.

In a market where first impressions can determine whether a BD conversation even happens, Asc3nd needed a brand that matched their actual capabilities — one that communicated precision, trustworthiness, and technical command at a glance.

The Engagement

Built to
Command Attention.

Westover began with a complete logo redesign — replacing the flat, generic mark with a bold, layered A-form in a gradient of blues and teals that conveys motion, technology, and precision. The new mark immediately signaled a company operating at a different level. From there, the engagement expanded into a full identity system: letterhead, business cards, folders, lanyards, badges, notebooks, and a complete employee handbook, all calibrated to the new visual language.

We redesigned the website from the ground up — transforming a cluttered, hard-to-navigate experience into a clean, mission-focused digital presence with clear service categories, strong messaging, and a professional credibility that matched their federal contracts. Proposal graphics, capability statements, conference booth systems, and 30+ LinkedIn posts followed. Asc3nd enrolled in a Westover Task Force subscription, maintaining an embedded creative partnership across branding, web, proposals, and event design.

When we looked to reposition our brand to go from looking like a 1-person startup to a mature federal contractor, Asc3nd partnered with Westover to establish our new brand, redesign our logo, and relaunch our website to help us open new doors and reach new heights. Their collaborative approach and expertise made the difference.

The Outcome

Mission-Ready.
Market-Ready.

The rebrand gave Asc3nd the professional presence and commanding visual identity their capabilities deserved. The new brand launched to strong reception from clients, partners, and industry peers — immediately elevating how Asc3nd was perceived in every BD conversation, conference appearance, and proposal submission. What started as a logo redesign became a two-year embedded creative partnership covering every touchpoint in their business development and marketing stack.
